Virtual Production Studio

Film in any world. In real time. In camera.

Enginious operates a full-service virtual production stage in Warsaw — LED volume, real-time rendering, and in-camera VFX powered by Unreal Engine 5. The same pipeline that delivered Emmy-winning shows for Netflix and Riot Games, now available for your production.

What is virtual production?

Virtual production replaces green screens with massive LED walls that display photorealistic 3D environments in real time. Actors perform inside the scene — not in front of a blank void. The background reacts to camera movement, lighting matches automatically, and what you see through the lens is final-pixel quality.

No more guessing what the VFX team will deliver. No more actors reacting to tennis balls. What you shoot is what you get.

Services

Virtual set design

We build photorealistic 3D environments in Unreal Engine 5 — from alien landscapes to period-accurate city streets. Assets are optimized for real-time rendering at 4K+ with Nanite and Lumen.

LED volume shoot

Full production support on our Warsaw stage. Camera tracking, real-time compositing, DIT workflow, and on-set technical direction. We handle the tech so your crew focuses on creativity.

In-camera VFX

Real-time depth-of-field, lens distortion matching, and live color grading. The image coming out of the camera is production-ready — reducing post-production time by 60-80%.

Pre-visualization

Plan your shots before you set foot on stage. Virtual location scouting, camera blocking, and lighting tests in a digital replica of the set.

Remote virtual production

Director, DP, and clients can join the shoot remotely via livestream with low-latency video and real-time camera control. Shoot in Warsaw, direct from Los Angeles.

Why Unreal Engine 5?

Enginious is an Epic Preferred Partner. We've been building with Unreal since UE4, and we've pushed UE5 to its limits on productions you know:

Project Type What we did
The Witcher Season 3 Netflix series Virtual environments, real-time set extensions
Arcane Season 2 Animated series (Riot Games) Pipeline consulting, asset optimization for UE5
Audi Car Configurator Automotive Real-time UE5 configurator, 4K output
Project Runner Original IP (in development) Full virtual production pipeline, sci-fi environments

Virtual production vs traditional VFX

Traditional VFX Virtual Production
Shoot day Green screen, imagination required Final-pixel environment visible on set
Lighting Guessed, fixed in post Real, interactive, matching the scene
Actor performance Reacting to marks Performing inside the world
Post-production Months of compositing 60-80% reduction in post time
Creative changes Expensive re-shoots or re-renders Real-time adjustments on set
Cost High post budget Higher shoot budget, lower post budget

Frequently asked questions

How much does a virtual production shoot cost?

LED volume rental starts at €3,500/day for the stage alone. Full production with virtual set design, technical crew, and real-time operation starts at €8,000/day. Contact us for a custom quote based on your shot list.

Do I need to build the 3D environment myself?

No. Our art team designs and optimizes photorealistic environments in Unreal Engine 5 as part of the package. We can also work with your existing assets.

Can you replicate a real location?

Yes. We can photogrammetry-scan real-world locations and rebuild them as real-time environments. Or we can build stylized worlds from concept art.

What camera systems do you support?

Any camera with timecode output. We have native integration with ARRI, RED, Sony Venice, and Blackmagic. Tracking works with Mo-Sys, Stype, and native UE Live Link.

Where is the stage located?

Warsaw, Poland — 2.5 hours flight from most European capitals. We can also deploy a mobile LED volume on location for larger productions.

How far in advance do I need to book?

Stage availability varies. Virtual set design typically takes 2–4 weeks. Contact us at least 6 weeks before your shoot date for full production.
