Piotr Kocel

In 2006, Kocel obtained the title of Master of Science
of Space Management at the International Space University
in Strasbourg.

In 2005 he was awarded the Bachelor of Business Management of Information Technologies at Schiller University in Heidelberg. Moreover, he is a graduate of the London Business School in the field of Corporate Finance. Piotr Kocel is a manager with over 14 years of experience in building, financing and managing enterprises in the TMT (Technology Media Telecom) sector. As the founder of Bombay Sour Films, he is currently building the world’s first blockchain-based and audience-financed VoD (Video-on-Demand) platform. Previously, he oversaw the largest VoD platform, VOYO (CME) in Central and Eastern Europe, and was responsible for several strategic digital media projects as vice president of corporate development and integration at RTL Group, where he was also a key member of the team responsible for the stock exchange debut in Frankfurt worth 1.5 billion euros.


As CFO of the Canadian technology company BroadbandTV, he was responsible for over $50 million in annual revenues. He started his professional career at SES Astra in Luxembourg in the satellite industry, where i.a. was involved in funding of $1.2 billion in the Google-backed satellite internet network, O3B Networks. Previously, he built location-based e-commerce applications. Co-founder and Managing Director of Enginious.
